We very rarely live in the present moment. If you think about it, most people are either involved with things in the past or the future and because of human nature, we follow a pattern and we continue these patterns throughout our lives, be them positive or negative.
If we become aware of the present moment we have more choice. Whether we realize it or not, we are running from pain or running towards pleasure. Long term pain is a problem and it doesn’t feel good. Get curious with the awareness mindset and begin to look towards what might feel better and once you make that choice your life truly changes.
It’s important to get comfortable with what we desire most and do what feels good.
