Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.
– Sarah Breathnach
It’s just the truth, y’know. Gratitude brings Abundance and everything Sarah says in her quote as well. However, you won’t know unless you practice it. I have been practicing it more than usual lately, always seems to be the case when I lose someone I love. It shines not only a light on what’s gone, but what is here. What is the best and good in my life. However, I had to learn how to do this. I had to study, and practice, and let go, and breathe, and give up, quit and start all over again. If I am really honest with myself, I can make a case how I start again everyday, every moment even.
Life and Business is always changing, the people, the places, the things, the situations. However, we have many Super Powers that are ALWAYS available, however, its up to us if we are going to use these powers and have better lives and businesses. Gratitude is so simple, anybody can do it. It has an immediate effect and just gets better the more we use it….
As we focus on what we already have, think and feel about the people, things, benefits, possibilities, opportunities, clients, co-workers, we are immediately tapping into what we want more of in our lives. It’s really that simple. I spend the first few minutes and the last few minutes of everyday with this practice and whenever I may not be feeling my best, all I have to do is bring up in my minds eye those I love most, the things I am most grateful for and BOOM! I am emotionally transported to a better place.
Give it a try, I’d love to know what your experience is…
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
